I became interested in family histories in the early 1980s and have been researching family history since that that time. Like may people researching their family history I had hoped to write a book. However, tracing the past is continuous and never-ending so I decided to take my hobby online. A website seemed to the best way to go to make the information available to as many people as possible and well as trace other peoples' past.

Corfe Castle, Dorset

History for the Veys starts at Corfe Castle  William Vey was born in Dorset 1696, married Anges Sergeant at Corfe Castle 1718. He died at Corfe Castle 12 Jun 1723.   

    History for the L'Estrange Branch begins in the 11th century. with Duke of Britanny Roland Le Strange, who migrated from Brittany to England (hence his name in the Latin form)
